Labeled throughout the territory in 2021, the Normandy Cabourg Pays d'Auge intercommunal tourist office decides after 3 years, under the validation of the management committee, to leave the Famille Plus label. For what ? What changes will take place? We tell you everything in the following article.

A label that no longer meets our expectations

Proud of our family destination, the tourist office was keen to highlight its assets and promote them by relying on the label Famille Plus label the obtaining of which required a significant investment on the part of the teams and socio-professionals to structure the family offer in this quality approach.

However, the Famille Plus label, in its current state, no longer meets our expectations for the following reasons:

  • This label lacks ambition, animation and support for the network of labeled cities and territories,
  • It does not propose any action plan allowing its development and promotion,
  • There is no monitoring of the evolution of family clientele practices in terms of experiential tourism, infrastructure and expected services,
  • It has not developed partnerships with brands allowing gateways for low-cost events,
  • The annual contributions are too high in relation to the benefits offered.

Faced with this observation, our management committee has made the decision to exit the Famille Plus approach.

What changes are coming?

From 1st January 2024, the territory and the partners of the office will no longer be labeled Famille Plus. We therefore invite you to:

  • No longer use the Famille Plus label logo on your means of communication (website, flyers, brochures, etc.)
  • Remove vintage stickers from your windows

This departure in no way calls into question the quality of the activities, services and family offerings which are offered by you, socio-professionals, and which we will continue to promote in our territory.
