Located near Beuvron-en-Auge, this 18th century “Maison des champs” is a fine example of classical architecture which has retained all of its stone or half-timbered outbuildings.
The stone castle of Caen is distinguished by the refinement of the ornamentation of the facades: its speaking arms and the allegories of the pediments. Main courtyard, groves, gardens adorned with topiaries have been restored in the original spirit.
The guided tour of the interior of the castle will allow you to discover its lounges, the main staircase in stone and ironwork, without forgetting the exceptional billiard room decorated with a panoramic view of Dufour from the 19th century, classified as a Historic Monument.
