The paleontological site of the Vaches Noires cliffs bears witness to an era in the history of the Earth: the Jurassic. The cliffs were formed by the accumulation of sediments deposited by the tropical sea which then covered Normandy. Today we find fossils of ammonites, sea urchins, nautiluses but also plesiosaurs, ichthyosaurs...

A Paleospace guide will accompany you to discover the history of this landscape and familiarize you with the numerous fossils for which this site is famous.
