Through a course (free and open access all year round) of 2 kilometers within the town of Amfreville, you will discover the history of the village during the summer of 1944, but also figures of the Commando Kieffer , who came to liberate the village.

With your smartphone, you will need to flash the various QR codes on the panels present at each stage of the route.

The last stage will offer you a panoramic view of the Baie de l'Orne and the sea: a real treat for the eyes that makes you want to discover the resort of Merville-Franceville-Plage and the tip of the seat.

To be done on foot (50 minutes) or by bike (40 minutes), this visit is a must in the history of the Landings and the territory.

Not to be missed if you want to perfect or deepen your knowledge of this great event that was the Landing on the Normandy beaches without going to a museum!
