More than a course, the Château de Canon invites you to a real romantic adventure!
Preserved intact since the second half of the 18th century, the estate is still inhabited to this day by the descendants of its creator, Jean-Baptiste Elie de Beaumont, a famous lawyer of the Age of Enlightenment.
The castle contains many family heirlooms. From the vestibule to the large living room via the dining room, the visit allows you to discover the history of the Élie de Beaumont family, and to follow the adventure of the ongoing restoration of this castle.
The interior of the castle can be discovered every day in summer thanks to guided tours or a unique game trail with the key to the castle. This family investigation will take you behind the scenes and that of daily life in the 18th century.
End your visit with its remarkable gardens, both French and English, and the Chartreuses, a dazzling set of ten walled gardens in a row, entirely planted with perennials.
